Caribbean Region's Pariba Little League Eliminates Japan, 2-1

Caribbean and Japan both threatened with rallies, but it was Pariba Little League that eventually took advantage in a 2-1 win at Volunteer Stadium. The loss by Japan Region Champion Chofu Little League ended the country's title defense, and marked the first time since 1962 that the island nation had lost consecutive Little League Baseball World Series games.

Donovan Antonia slugged a fourth-inning home run to tie the game at 1-1. A bases-loaded walk to Nair Jamanika in the fifth inning proved to be the difference, scoring Egory Manuela with the eventual winning run.

Jadon Gosepa struck out seven hitters en route to the Caribbean win. Gosepa allowed one earned run, four hits, and no walks over five innings.
